Reaction and performance tests

Measure how fast you react, how much delay your setup adds, and what your graphics chip can do.

Which test do you need?

  • You want to know how fast you are: the reaction time test averages five tries, and the F1 reaction test adds the start lights.
  • Your setup feels sluggish: the input lag test shows the delay between a press and the next frame. Compare it with the refresh rate test.
  • Games stutter or the laptop gets hot: the GPU test shows which chip the browser uses and whether the frame rate drops under load.

Looking for click speed? The CPS test sits with the mouse tests.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to common questions about these tests.

What is a good reaction time?

Most people land between 200 and 300 ms on a visual test. Under 200 ms is fast. Your screen and mouse add some delay of their own.

Can a browser stress test my GPU?

It can put a heavy load on it with a shader and watch the frame rate. It is lighter than dedicated benchmark software, but enough to show throttling or a software fallback.
