TestMyKit is a set of free tests for the hardware you use every day: keyboards, mice, microphones, webcams, speakers, headphones, screens and game controllers. Each test answers one plain question. Does it work, and if not, what can you do about it?
How the tests work
The tests use features built into every modern browser: keyboard and mouse events, the Gamepad API, the Web Audio API and camera and microphone access. Everything runs on your device. We do not upload your sound, your picture or anything you type.
What we promise
- Tests that are free, fast and work without an account.
- Clear results in plain language, with fixes for Windows and Mac when something fails.
- No pop-ups that get in the way of a test.
TestMyKit is made by the team behind speedtypingtest.app.
